S2系列微型斷路器是ABB公司90年代進(jìn)入市場(chǎng)的限流型產(chǎn)品，適用于住宅、商業(yè)及一般工業(yè)用途的終端配電線路的過(guò)電流保護(hù)及短路保護(hù)。產(chǎn)品包括:S250S、S260、S260UC、S280UC和S290、S500、S800等系列。

S260微型斷路器是ABB公司最新推出的產(chǎn)品，可對(duì)終端配電線路的過(guò)載何短路提供保護(hù)，并具隔離功能，外殼采用熱固型材料，此材料成形后沒(méi)有熔點(diǎn)，即使遇明火也只會(huì)逐步碳化而不會(huì)融化變形，因此它的 絕緣性和耐熱性極高。

S260更具有獨(dú)立式的金屬操作機(jī)構(gòu)，無(wú)須外殼定位，使開(kāi)關(guān)結(jié)構(gòu)更加堅(jiān)固穩(wěn)定，并可避免因外殼破損或變形所造成的動(dòng)作失靈。這使產(chǎn)品的穩(wěn)定性和可靠性大大提高。S260的上下端均可做進(jìn)線端，并可連導(dǎo)線及匯流排，且分段能力不變。可提供多鐘脫口特性和寬范圍的電流等級(jí)，適合不同場(chǎng)合應(yīng)用。
